Behm & Company provides a wide variety of services to many industries, with a large concentration of clients in the escrow, title, mortgage and realty.  Services provided include annual audits of financial statements and trust accounts, studies of internal accounting controls, Best Practices consultation, embezzlement audits, expert witness testimony and litigation support, consultation for escrow and title new licensees, consultation on compliance requirements of government oversight bodies, proper policies and procedures, profitability enhancement and business expansion and combinations. 

 

Jeff Behm is the founder and managing partner of Behm & Company, an Accountancy Corporation, in Newport Beach, California.  Jeff has been sought out on numerous occasions by leaders in the industries for assistance on various real estate related matters, and has served in litigation support and expert witness capacities for attorneys on a variety of matters.

 

Prior to founding Behm & Company, Jeff was a partner and Director of Auditing & Accounting Services for Squar & Clarke (now Squar Milner), at that time the largest CPA firm based in Orange County.  Jeff was also responsible for the development of the Comprehensive Business Services Department.

 

Jeff has spoken at numerous real estate industry meetings, and has authored articles for various publications concerning auditing, taxation, embezzlement prevention, and SOC I and SOC II audits.  Jeff is a member of the following professional societies:
